The Worldcon party where Rene Walling was bartending and hitting on folks was the joint bid party for Montreal in 2017 and New Zealand in 2020. Still not clear about whether how he got on program ops (or, as has been clarified, possible worked out of ops without actually being an ops volunteer, which I'm sure makes a huge difference if you were going to ops to file a charge against him, right?).
