It's funny, but that also touched that off in me. I'm fairly certain they're going to go for a Lizard/Hobgoblin double header, but the Kraven storyline would be amazingly intense and rich.
They seem to be going with the goofiest villains first. I am longing for Venom, myself, though now you mention it, Kraven would definitely be cool...and much easier to update and de-goof than the angst-ridden Hobgoblin throwing pumpkin bombs.
Oh, heck yeah. I remember reading the Kraven storyline as a kid, and being blown away (no pun intended) by the maturity and the gravity of the plot. I will forever remember how it ends.
As for goofy... in a way, I think that Alfred Molina pulled off a perfect Doc Ock. There are many ways in which that character could have been badly done- especially if the actor took the role too seriously. But I loved it.
Anyway, here's hoping the next movie brings us to a mature end (if it follows the trilogy format).
Don't you mean the Green Goblin? Harry Osborn was NEVER the Hobgoblin. But then again, giving James Franco the Hobgoblin part will allow them to scrap that god-awful mockery of a Power Ranger costume.
Holy crap. You're right. My apologies! Though really, in a way it would be a forgiveable blip of continuity if it meant that we didn't just see another Green Goblin replete with halloween mask.
Ha, no need to apologize. I'm not going to be calling you "whore" anytime soon. Besides, I'm not a big enough Spider-Man fan (http://www.livejournal.com/users/experimentego/149391.html) to do so. <---(ironic link)
