House!

Loved the new episode last night.

But was I the only person who wanted to see Ron Livingston leave a post-it note on the lamp when he checked out?

Ha!

I nearly peed myself when House said: "Every minute we don't love each other, a puppy sheds a tear."

(I need to get the exact quote, but that's pretty close.)

Why do you think they didn't just make the episode about AIDS, when TB seemed an obvious placeholder for AIDS?

I would probably have gone with malaria, then. TB seemed... odd. I guess it's just not on my radar screen.

TB is such a concern in some parts of the world that when you move to Hawaii, you're required to take a TB test to start school or get a job.

Hmm. That's interesting.

I had to take a TB test to be employed by my school district (in Central Florida.)

Surprising they didn't do a PSA afterward, then.

TB is a growing problem here in the US between the influx of illegal immigrants and AIDS. I've had to treat a number of people for it.

bill gates has malaria pretty sewn up

They did AIDS last year with the senator who was running for president. Anyway, I didn't think the TB seemed like a placeholder at all.

Whenever the issue of meds being too expensive for third-world countries is in the news, it's almost always regarding AIDS, or occasionally malaria.

That's why Dr. Charles was so eager to get some attention for his disease. AIDS is getting all the ink and nobody's saying crap about TB. Remeber when he said "TB is my disease"? He would never have been able to say that about AIDS. Anyway, they did AIDS last year, with the black senator.

I misspelled "remember," but I hope you understood me anyway.
