I do agree that the need for more good sci-fi and fantasy is huge -- this is the first year in a while that I've actaully felt like I had choices within the genre world, and it's a good thing.

And I might well have enjoyed Kolchak more if it weren't tied in to the franchise.

But yeah, I'm hoping that more of them survive (it's pretty much a given that there will be at least four supernatural shows -- Lost, Supernatural, Smallville, and Medium -- at a minimum next year, and I'm guessing it'll be more like seven or eight holdovers).
