Today is the first time I've ever heard of this holiday. I could claim it's because I've lived in the Midwest my whole life, but apparently it's observed to some degree in Wisconsin. Plus you'd think I'd've heard of it in the context of the Red Sox games that have been played during the day on this holiday for years.
