I saw it.

I liked it for what it was, but it definitely wasn't the Elektra of the comics, and Jen Garner is a perfectly likable actress who was absolutely miscast as Elektra.

Best of all possible worlds: Oliver Stone's Elektra: Assassin (which was actually supposed to happen at one point) with Michael Chiklis as Garrett. (Should actually be Brian Dennehy, but he's too old now.)

It was a waste. It was underdone and the worst use of Terrence Stamp in quite some time. I was just so frustrated at it for the way it couldn't embrace itself that I watched Catwoman later.

I don't think it could embrace itself because it was trying to be way too serious. And you can't be that serious with Elektra. Not with Garner in the role, you can't.

I loved how Miller just turned her into the all-out crazed ninja bitch in Elektra: Assassin and turned the whole thing into a spy farce. THAT would've been entertainment.

Several of the films linked above the line "Utter crap:" belong below it. Not just Elektra, but certainly Elektra.
