MySpace and inflated page hits
MySpace's god-awful design, which I'd always assumed was the result of letting a pcp-snorting chimpanzee get root access, artificially inflates their web stats insanely.

I've seen similar issues with Livejournal though, just not to this level. Good example is at my parttime job. I'm the only one in the building that views Livejournal there, so its never shows up in the top10 list during the week, but when I'm there on saturdays after 1 or 2 page refresh's LJ is all of a sudden in the top 10 list on the firewall based on hit counts(always behind the webmail sites though)
