Two Saturday notes

1. Elayna got a note from Bay Path today in the mail. We've been getting a ton of mail from the colleges she's applied to recently (financial aid info, application acknowledgments, etc), so figured it just another bit of that. But it was a handwritten notecard from an admissions officer congratulating her on her acceptance. The other (still small) envelope from them was her official acceptance, along with a heck of a nice scholarship (that's pre-financial aid app). So, um, yeah. She gets to go on vacation knowing that she's at least been accepted somewhere. She also got an acceptance from Lasell. Both are technically on the safety side of things, but it's nice to know that your safeties are actually, well, safe.

2. We're off to Florida at WhatTheFuck o'clock tomorrow morning, so if I post any Amazon deals, it'll be at 5AM, and probably consist of three links. Also, what the heck's with north FL weather? 78 degrees on Christmas? Seriously?

I could use some 78F about now; I was out playing Ingress this evening and it was too cold to continue even with my touchscreen-compatible gloves.
