Don't forget -- Starbucks is giving away free samples (in little four-ounce sealed packages, so the barristas aren't forced to become ice cream scoopers) today. Got mine just now. The Emory store has Java Chip. Yum. :-)

And Cold Stone Creamery is giving away free ice cream from 10-Noon this Saturday.

Starbucks is only at certain times, too. I felt pretty stupid walking in there at lunchtime and them telling me it wasnt until 2pm. So, no ice cream for me. :(

If I'm not working Saturday, I may try the Cold Stone one.

Ours wasn't supposed to officially start until 2, but they grabbed one for me (without my even pushing), as they've got plently. I guess it's a store-by-store thing. I figure any time after 10 is acceptable for ice cream. :-)

After 10? I could have ice cream for brekkie! hehe. I mean, its mostly milk, so its like a bowl of cereal without the cereal. And a lot of kids cereals have more sugar than ice cream anyway. :-P
