Gah. T-minus two days until my life becomes like a Loverboy song.*

TV: Watched Tivo-stored episodes of Stella and Surreal Life with [livejournal.com profile] shadesong (the former featuring Janeane Garofalo) before she headed to bed. I then finally caught the series finale of Six Feet Under. And yeah, mediocre as some recent episodes have been, this was a hell of a good ending. Wow.

I then also caught three reruns of Degrassi: TNG. I blame that bastard Kevin Smith. I'd never have started this addiction otherwise.

Also caught part of the Mets ritual slaughter of the D'backs. Quite nice. David Wright's got an OPS of over 1.400 in the last week, which borders on obscene.

And for the first time in a week, I hit the snooze bar on the alarm clock instead of just waking right up. Gee, wonder why?

On the plus side, today's too insane for me to be tired.

*That would be "Working for the Weekend," not "Gangs in the Street" or "Hot Girls in Love." And definitely not "Lovin' Every Minute of It."

Jay and Silent Bob guest-starred on Degrassi?

Why did I think "Lovin' Every Minute Of It" was Def Leppard? Hmm...

How about 'Turn Me Loose'?

Hot Girls In Love would be a MUCH better way to go :)

Heck, *I* want Hot Girls In Love for *MY* weekend. Hehe.

I've watched three eps of Stella, including the Garafalo one, and I've still never found it funny or smart. Very disappointing.

Smith did actually NO directing... he wasn't allowed. He could ONLY act.

His first offer was to write and that was denied cause it's an ALL-Canadian show. Then he wanted to direct and they said NO to that too...so he finally was able to agree to act. I'm sure he CONSULTED them on stuff (like the whole Caitlin make-out... ;))... but No official directing or writing, it wasn't allowed legally.

Oh yes, International Entertainment Labor Law is funny.

There's a lot of things from the 80s that I would prefer to forget!
