More DVD goodness

As noted by murnkay, drewshi, and probably others*, Deep Discount DVD is having a Buy 1 get one Free sale on a whole bunch of DVD box sets. There's some utter crap, of course (The Jeff Foxworthy Show, anyone?), but there's also some gems here, including Ned and Stacey, Newsradio, and Stargate (the latter being probably the best deal -- two seasons for $32.62 total). The prices aren't that awesome before the sale kicks in, but if there are two items you want, the deals become pretty damned nice (and they do free shipping, of course).

*You'd think, since I'm on their mailing list, that DeepDiscountDVD would be one of the "others," and you'd be right. But I only got their email after I'd read murnkay's comment an drewshi's post.

Well, in the latter's case, I could see them trying to cash in on the borderline-softporn stuff, given the relative success of the first movie. No idea why they'd bother with a sequel on Sniper, but hey, this is a worl in which we get Single White Female 2, so who knows?

Sadly, I've taken advantage of very few of the sales myself -- even the 20% off at DDD. Money's been tight enough that I think this was our slowest year of DVD growth. I'm living vicariously through all of you!
