After re-watching The New York Ripper last week, I noticed that, although my DVD rack seemed full, I had no problem putting the movie away. In fact, I never seem to have a problem fitting another Fulci or Bava movie on the rack.

This is, of course, because there's always room for Giallo.

(ETA: Google reveals that David Schow, the bastard, already used that joke while writing liner notes for, of all things, a Fulci film. Damn him).

what a terribly strange misogynist romp that one is, eh?
the whole talking like a duck thing elevated it to a new level of bizarreness.

What is it with the Italians and their razor blades? I mean, if I don't see a black-gloved hand breaking a lightbulb with a straight razor, I just don't know what kind of film I'm watching!

There's always room for Giallo
