yendi1. LJ Comment notifications are still borked (or, possibly, they're newly borked). To their credit, shortly after I filed a report yesterday, they not only sent me a comment acknowledging it, but also apologized for having no info on the support page, and changed the page. To my amusement, the automated message that gets sent after filing a support call hit my mailbox about two hours later. :-)
2. A few days ago, I won five downloads from SonyConnect (via this contest). SonyConnect is basically like iTunes, except the interface is shit, the selection is shit, and the software only runs on Windows. That said, since it (like iTunes) allows songs to be burnt to CD, I figured I could download five songs, burn them, and put them into iTunes (in fact, I've done this before when I've won downloads from them). Less than three hours later, I get an email from Side One Dummy records (I'm on their junk mail list), letting me know that Flogging Molly has recorded three exclusive acoustic tracks that can only be found at SonyConnect. Perfect timing! :-)
3. If you're a Mets fan -- hell, even if you're a baseball fan in general -- you need to be reading the Mets Blog. It's really one of the best sites out there for coverage of the Hot Stove season.
