Brandon Roth, the new Superman on the big screen, may be too super-endowed.

Wonder how much of the f/x budget for the movie this is going to cost?

From what I heard, the "super-stuffed super package" issue came up (er, so to speak) in pre-production, and that the costume designers already took steps to tone down the look so FX wouldn't be needed. (The opposite happened on the BBC version of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: the costume designers used rock stars like Mick Jagger as inspiration for Zaphod's costume, including tight pants -- padded with two three-inch tubes to simulate two male organs. The tubes were first six inches, but they decided that was TOO in-your-face. Um. So to speak. Heh heh.)

So this isn't quite as fake as the "OMG computer FX filled in the actor's bald spots!" rumors that hit Bruce Willis on Hudson Hawk and then Kevin Costner on Waterworld, but it's a non-issue that's still on the web because it's fun to write about.

About the same amount it cost to reduce Lohan's breasts in Herbie I suspect.

Shame about that, all they had to do was wait a bit an Lohan's coke habit and implant removal would have taken care of that for them.

As for the Brandon Biggie I suspect that is some intentional publicity to creat buzz for the movie.

Consider the source. Ananova are a less reliable news source than The Onion -- indeed, they've willingly reposted satire articles from other sources as real news, all the while claiming full story credit for themselves.

I simply discount anything with the slightest hint of an Ananova taint about it. It's automatic.
