ATF agents detain a student who was coming home from a pirate vs ninja theme party dressed as a ninja.

I can only hope that our government is willing to be just as tough on the samurai, karate masters, and ultimate frisbeeists that pepper our nation's campuses.

you know, this just goes to show how misdirected out 'law enforecement' is.
if we, as a nation, had any true concept of justice...
we'd be going after the 'sensitive' guys with acoustic guitars that plague college campuses everywhere.

See, this is just plain silly. Police just shouldn't bother trying to detain anyone dressed as a ninja. If they are able to detain him, then he's clearly not a real ninja, and thus does not need detaining!

wts?

I'm normally a pirate girl myself, but after this, I think I'm going to have to reconsider my position on ninjas. No one should be oppressed because of their inability to find a decent ninja suit (which would have made him invisible to all except the unclouded mind).

dude

There was a time when the Norman Medieval Faire was COVERED with ninjas.

Fortunatly, Bush wasn't president at the time....

wait......he WAS president at the time. But that was the other one. The not-as-evil one.

the sad part is, he wasn't dressed as a very good ninja. Red bandanna? WTF? They shoulda cited him for insulting ninjas (although I am a pirate girl myself)

Drat- there goes our plans to overhaul our corporate dress code to Ninja-Formal. I was really looking forward to the slimming quality of black clothing. And being able to sneak out early without being detected!

Wanna bet that the ATF will ask for a huge budget
increase to combat this growing menace to our
"national security" ;)

Although technically wouldn't
they have to be at least drunken ninjas?

People who go to theme parties should be detained.
