European Cola-War Commercials, part 2

Last night, I pointed out a Pepsi commercial from Germany that made my eye, ears, and possibly even my penis want to run screaming out of the room.

Many folks in the comments section pointed out the fact that European commercials are apparently all crap.

slipjig, however, noted this Coke commercial, which is not only amazing, but which leads me to reaffirm my belief that Pepsi really has no place on this planet as anything but a supplier of Mountain Dew.

(Oh, and for the record, I do like the Trio song used as the basis for the Pepsi commercial, just not as biergarten music).

As someone who has lived in several European countries, I can also confirm that the country that produces the worst commercials is without a doubt Germany.

Well, judging from the state of German television in general, the ads are the least of their worries....German TV is scary!!!!

Are you sure the commercial's from Germany? If it's the one I watched last night, it seems SE Asian (from the language and text at the end), perhaps Thai. I'm not familiar enough with the differences between Thai and Cambodian, visually.

I think this just shows the English make far better commercials than the Germans do.
