What we really need for our cats
Aug. 11th, 2006 08:52 amIt's a litterbox-robot that turns cat urine into colored, wrapped, egg-shaped balls for easy disposal.
Yes, it's $600 to make a mildly inconvenient task mildly less inconvenient, and our cats would probably avoid it (Jack would probably attack it), but I still want one, just on principle.
ETA: And I shouldn't be surprised that plenty of you have this device or variations thereof, from the comments!

Date: 2006-08-11 01:51 pm (UTC)That being said, it is still the best automated litterbox EVER. Even our easily-spookable cat has adjusted to it very well.

Date: 2006-08-11 01:54 pm (UTC)I definitely think it's much better for our particular cats than other automated litter boxes; they tend to go around the sides of the box, and the littermaid kind of freaks out when that happens.
Also we get to say things like, "yesterday we swapped out the motherboard of our litterbox."
