Following their earlier announcements, Amazon has started a second wave of TV sales.

There are six "up to 50% off" BBC categories:

Classic Comedy (notables include Fawlty Towers for $29.97, Keeping Up Appearances for $64.97, and the combined Yes, Minister/Yes, Prime Minister for $64.97).

Modern Comedy (Including The Vicar of Dibley -- Divine Collection, The Young Ones, and AbFab combined series 1-2 at $29.97 each).

Drama (including assorted Dickens, Austen, and Trollope collections).

Documentary and Music (including tons of National Geographic docs, as well as a DVD about Manchester United).

Mystery and Suspense (some nice deals on Sayers and Campion collections).

Sci-Fi (including Dr. Who: The Key to Time at $50.47, Dr. Who - The Beginning Collection at $24.97, and the second and third two-series sets of Red Dwarf at $34.97 a pop).

The other sale is up to 50% off of various HBO shows. Other than season 1 of Sex and the City, the only actual 50% off show here is well-known HBO comedy Everybody Loves Raymond (seriously, wtf?). But there are season sets of Deadwood, Carnivale, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and The Sopranos at 40% off.

And I also see that "the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" is available, the BBC version! That's something I might have to find a way to buy.

An answer that you really don't care about getting: I believe HBO was the production company behind Raymond, along with Dave Letterman's Worldwide Pants.
