shadesong's $Winterholiday presents, and noticed that a book that's on both of our wishlists was not only finally out, but was cheap.
So our copy of The Mislaid Magician or Ten Years After: Being the Private Correspondence Between Two Prominent Families Regarding a Scandal Touching the Highest Levels of Government and the Security of the Realm is on the way, for only $10.87 (it's a $17 hardcover normally).!
(And it doesn't count as a $Winterholiday gift, because we both want it, and buying a book for your spouse that you want to read as much as she does is cheating; it's what makes gift-buying in the Gojirawitz household so tough, as we have to find books or DVDs that clearly appeal more to one of us than the other).
