So, color me unimpressed with the Museum of Fine Arts so far. I attempted to order a ticket for tonight's screening of The Host, only to find out that they don't support Safari (but do so in the backhanded manor of giving a "no cookies" error message). After switching to Firefox, I got to the end of the order (which required me to create an account, always an annoyance), only go get a cryptic message saying "invalid delivery method." And I can only hope that I didn't get charged, but I can't be sure.

After no fewer than three bad links, I finally found what appears to be a number for the box office. I've now been on hold for six minutes and thirty seconds.

Oh, wait -- they've now transferred me to a "leave a message" voicemail, and they want me to leave my credit card number. Yeah, right. I'd rather wait on hold and speak to a human.

The MFA could well be the best fucking museum on the planet, but at this point, they've already struck me as one of the least professional and organized (and I go to cons).

Anyone know if the MFA tends to sell out of movie tickets in general? I really do not want to spend an hour getting there by bus to find that I can't fucking get in.

ETA: Just got through to someone on the phone who was very nice and assured me they're not likely to sell out. As is so often the case, the humans there are professional; it's the stuff in the way of getting to people that sucks.
