I'm really, really liking this con. Great hotel, great panels, and (of course) great people.

Stuff that I've done so far:

● Caught readings by Esther Friesner, Jane Yolen,

matociquala, and Kate Laity.

● Attended panels on overlooked sf, neglected authors, bad SF movies, and other stuff.

● Watched my daughter get completely fucking addicted to the Wii.

● Bought books by Cherie Priest, Elizabeth Haydon, Shane Berryhill, Peter Watts, William Sleator, and probably others I'm forgetting.

● Bid on items at the art show and the John Ford silent auction. As of this writing, we're still capable of winning some of those bids.

● Managed to avoid going excessively fanboy (in the "hi, I no understand how put words together" sense) around either

matociquala (whose Literary ~~Bear~~ Beer I attended) or Esther Friesner.

● Only went slightly fanboyish on finally meeting

pnh.

● Hit extreme fanboy stride around John Scalzi.

● Hunted and found dozens of Tribbles.

● Added a book to my wishlist based solely on a conversation with the publisher.

● Received about a zillion compliments on my t-shirt, which was a valentine's day gift from

shadesong.

● Finally met

shellefly! Yay!

● Seen lots of other good folks, like

ckd,

xiphias,

liamstliam, and probably others who I'm omitting because I'm exhausted.

There's probably lots of other stuff to mention. Sadly, I'm so damned tired, I'm forgetting lots. I'm too tired to even hit the gaming room or parties one last time. Off to bed for me.
