Over on Making Light, pnh links to this set of humorous hypothetical "captchas" that are designed to also test if someone was smart enough to actually use the internet. If only such things really existed.

Of course, Kingdom of Loathing Players are already familiar with a similar set of tests that serve as a virtual gatekeeper for chat. Alas, it doesn't keep the morons out very well, either.
