Damn. Aside from being a good magazine for Miss Kid (albeit one she'd mostly outgrown), it also published comics by folks like Art Baltazar. Elizabeth Watasin, Jeff Smith, and Eric Jones.

My girls, as 'tweens and teens appreciated Jump magazine. Better than the usual dreck in teenmags.

I remember when that thing launched, we had all the old issues. :o All I remember now is the James Bond issue with Pierce Brosnan on the cover and some animated Disney girls posing with him.

We only started getting it in the last few years (although I did snag the issues featuring Bone in the early '90), so I'm not that familiar with the early issues, alas. But I love that cover concept.
