Yes! Yes! Yes!

After all the sucktastic shows that have gotten pickups -- Private Practice, Gossip Girl, Big Band Theory -- it's nice to see something good get a boost.

Wow, that's great news!

I'm shocked that Big Bang Theory got picked up, though. Perhaps the producers are just fearing a writers' strike, so they picked it up in lieu of having to come up with something else. Either that, or the show's fans -- both of them -- are just really powerful people.

YES! I am _very_ pleased to hear this! That show makes me laugh out loud and applaud every time.

And you know, "Big Band Theory" might have been a more entertaining show.

Oh, cool. My uncle was just recommending that show to me. He likes it because he's a big fan of Kristin Cheneworth (who bugs me), but I'm going to check it out because Lee Pace was one of the best parts of Wonderfalls.

Good to know that it will continue, especially with your recommendation.

Yes, my wife and I are very powerful people! Fear us!

Clearly we're the target audience for Big Bang Theory. We think it's very funny most of the time.

I'm with you on Private Practice, sadly. I'd hoped it would be worth watching, but...no such luck.

On the other hand, much as I liked Wonderfalls and LOVED Dead Like Me, I couldn't sit through even the first episode of Pushing Daisies. It was just too cute for words.

What happens on Big Band Theory? Do people sit around and discuss how Vaughn Monroe and Guy Lombardo should never be put in the same category as Benny Goodman?

Pushing Daisies is flat out the best show on TV right now. This weeks Heroes is bringing it back up to FavoriteShow Status, but still. I was SO happy to see that news today! :)

I'd hoped that would be the case.

Sis works on the show in post production, and knew it was getting a full order.

She's spending 14 hour days making sure the eps are finished to perfection.

I'll add my woohoos late but just as loud; Pushing Daisies is the only show I've made an effort to watch in year.

Your icon is the creep, btw! :)

BBT is awesome while Pushing Daisies is more like Pushing Shit. Who really watches shows with a narrator? I mean really, the show sounds like it was written by Lemony Snicket for chrissakes.

The worst thing about BBT is the laugh track.

gotta say, big bang theory really amuses me. then again, i understand a lot of what is being said, as a physics degree will do that for you. plus the chick is hot.

Yeah, the significant other and I are always laughing at BBT too. It's one of our favorites of the new season, hands down. I missed tivoing the first episode of Pushing Daisies. I have the others sitting waiting to be watched, but I haven't had a lot of time for TV. But we love BBT, worst part is the laugh track, but even that can be ignored for the humor.

I haven't watched much else of the new shows, other than Reaper, which I've enjoyed too, I'll admit it...
