Salma Hayak will be playing Madama Truska in the Cirque du Freak movie.

Truska is the bearded lady. This should be interesting.

Especially since Truska, although a recurring character in the books, is not a major character throughout (and, in fact, doesn't appear at all in about half of them).

I'm not familiar with Madama Truska, but if Ms. Hayak can play the Mustached Frida Kahlo, I don't see why she shouldn't play a bearded lady.
