May. 23rd, 2008 10:10 amHappy St. Sneaky Pete's Day, everyone!
A few tabs that have needed closing:
1. Free DHL Overnight Shipment.
2. Turns out that the other CIA -- the one that makes food, not war -- is having issues.
3. The Simpsons cast is on strike, which may lead to fewer episodes next year. Much as I love to see Fox take a beating, it's hard to feel sympathetic for folks demanding a raise for their $8 Million a year jobs (although given the billions Fox makes a year with the franchise, it might well be in line).
4. Another chance for a Judy Greer TV show. Yay!
5. Google Health. Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, at first glance.
6. Sigh. I'm just going to go with what Scalzi said here: 16% of US science teachers are apparently complete morons.
7. For KOL players: The Level 12 Optimizer.
8. How to get freebies with Google Checkout.
9. The Washington Nationals have managed to lose any and all chance they had of being lovable losers. They could win 120 games this year, but they'd still be just plain losers.
10. Finally, Pushing Daisies, the best new show of the 2007-2008 season (which is actually decently high praise, as in spite of the strike, there was some good stuff this year), is coming to DVD! Yay! Ditto for Chuck, which is not only wonderful, but represents the first Adam Baldwin renewal in a long time.
(10.5 -- speaking of which, what was with the Adam Baldwin guest appearance on the CSI: NY finale? Ten seconds of screentime? Why bother?)

Date: 2008-05-23 02:58 pm (UTC)I don't really get this notion that people who make X dollars don't deserve X+1 dollars. Where is the magical tipping point?
