yendiA bunch of DVD sales have gone up this week:
The Summer DVD Sale has a bunch of under-$6 movies, including The Matrix Revolutions (2-disc), Boiler Room, Drop Dead Gorgeous (a must-own movie, imho), The Last Boy Scout (ditto), Creepshow, Mortal Kombat, Sugar and Spice, and The Man with Two Brains.
The Summer Blitz Sale has another bunch of cheap (between $6 and $9) movies, including Friday, My Fair Lady, Lady in the Water, Three Kings, and some combo packs (including Island of Dr. Moreau, The Hidden, and Dark CIty for $8.99).
The "Buy 3 for $10" sale includes Real Genius, Bottle Rocket, The Craft, Muppets from Space, The Quick and the Dead, the unrated and hysterical version of The Sweetest Thing, and the insanely underrated Hudson Hawk.
The Emmy Award sale features The Office, House, lots of Law and Order: SVU, Monk, and The Rockford Files. at 42-60% off.
The TV Favorites Sale features Invasion (75% off!), Gilligan's Island, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Everwood, Dukes of Hazzard, and other discs at 48% off and up.
The Hit Movies and TV Sale features Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, Law and Order: CI, Brokeback Mountain, American Pie, and others at 60% off, and a bunch of other items (Eureka, Knocked Up, Balls of Fury) at 40-55% off.
Finally, the Big Collector's Sale includes 217 discs at 45% off and up, including The Princess Bride, Live Free or Die Hard (67% off!), Never Say Never Again, Day Watch, Bend it Like Beckham, A Fish Called Wanda, Idiocracy, Super Troopers, Office Space, Bowling for Columbine, Say Anything, Showgirls, Raging Bull, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Prom Night 2, Big, Rocky Horror, This is Spinal Tap, The Commitments, Boys Don't Cry, Blue Velvet, Wizards, and The Mark of Zorro (the movie that killed Batman's parents!
