Sep. 3rd, 2008 02:30 pm1. Wondering about the state of Google Chrome for Mac or Linux? Here's an update. No actual reason for the Windows headstart is given (even though marketshare and the potential to take on IE are the likely reasons, but Google won't be caught dead saying that), but it's still a good piece. Alas, there's no word on why they continue to bring out new versions of Picasa for Windows without offering squat to other platforms (can you imagine if Google actually ever allowed comment threads on their blogs, so folks could actually ask them questions?).

8. Coca-Cola is making a soda machinewith four asses that can dispense 100 different types of soda.
9. The makers of the world's crappiest board game are bringing us The Game of Life: Extreme Reality Edition. They're seeking your stories. I'd rather they look to Robot Chicken.
10. Finally, Esquire's next issue will have a variant cover featuring e-ink.
