Our town offers a Citizen's Police Academy program, which I'll be starting tonight. I'm viewing it as a potential writing tool, as well as something I just find fascinating in general. I do not expect any wacky hijinks to ensue.
'Tis not just I who worries about jinxes! Yesterday I wrote an e-mail to a Raiders-fan friend grudgingly praising his guys for fighting for their win (I'm decidedly NOT a Raiders fan); then for a couple of minutes it looked like the Chiefs might pull ahead. Ah crap, I thought, I hope I didn't jinx them.
Moving Violations
I haven't seen that one since it came out, actually.
Ah, cable TV, happily corrupting my childhood... I have only scattered memories of that flick, but any film that works in zero-gravity sex has at least one thing going for it. (I can't remember how they possibly justified zero-G sex, but at least it was clever/hot random and not the random-random of the Epic Movie filmmakers! They're not "filmmakers," they're "failmakers." There, my rant's over...)
