It's Cheap Wii Game Day at Amazon!
Sep. 19th, 2008 07:55 amAmazon's Deal of the Day is Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection for $13.98 I have this game, and if you're a fan of classic pinball, I can't recommend it highly enough. The table recreations are perfect, and the machines themselves are all true classics. My only minor gripe is that they didn't release a Wii Fan to go with Whirlwind. Otherwise, you might as well be in an old arcade when you're playing these.
And all of the Gold Box Lightning Deals are Wii games, as well!
In order:
9AM: Rayman Raving Rabids 2 for $19.97 (50% off).
1PM: No More Heroes for $19.97 (33% off).
2PM: Mercury Meltdown: Revolution for $9.98 (60% off).
3PM: My Word Coach for $9.98 (33% off).
4PM: Ferrari Challenge for $29.98 (48% off).
6PM: Fishing Master for $19.98 (33% off).
9PM: Little League World Series Baseball '08 for $29.98 (50% off).
(All times Eastern Standard)
Of the Lightning Deals, No More Heroes and Rayman are the two I can speak to personally (I own the former and have played the latter), and I recommend both of them. NMH is most definitely not for kids, but it's a blast, and might have more blood in it than any game I've played in a long time. The other games have generally gotten decent reviews (Mercury Meltdown is very, very tempting at its pricepoint), although they all tend to fill niches, instead of hitting the general audience the way, say, Super Mario Galaxy does.
