Mark Guggenheim is intent on proving that he doesn't just write lame comic books and treacly lawyer shows that wish they were written by Bryan Fuller. He also gives baffling interviews. Like this one, in which he shouts that A) the entire "One More Day" storyline was actually completely insignificant, as it changed nothing at all in the Marvel Universe, and B) that anyone who complains about it is pro gay marriage. Whether that's meant to be an insult tarnishing the critics as possibly gay, or an insult tarnishing the critics as homophobes who are stupid, I've got no idea. A third possibility is just that it's a really, really bad analogy. Which, in light of his other writing, is probably the correct one.

Here's a flowchart showing Guggenheim's train of logic.
