Cheap (and mostly good) Mel Brooks!

Amazon's Deal of the Day is The Mel Brooks Collection for $39.99 (60% off!). That includes Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, To Be or Not to Be, History of the World Part 1, High Anxiety, em>Silent Movie, and The Twelve Chairs. Alas, you'll also be stuck with Robin Hood: Men in Tights, which has about five funny jokes (and two of them are stolen from other Brooks movies). And there are certainly great Mel Brooks films not in the set (The Producers and Spaceballs), but it's still a damned fine collection.

It sucks that the Producers isn't included, but it says Silent Movie is. I've never seen all of that one, I may just have to get that collection. I would have liked Spaceballs to be in there, too.
