But I suspect this has potential to be more of an Evil Dead: The Musical kind of thing. Although I'd shoot for Off Broadway for that kind of show, myself.
Screw that. I want them to go the other extreme, make American Psycho 2: The Musical, and have Mila Kunis, Geraint Wyn Davies, and William Shatner singing on stage.
But if that can't happen, then yes, that sequel should be ignored.
