Maybe you can change your mascot's name to "Jesus Motherfucking Christ."

Because, more often than not, that's what I end up uttering after one of your games.

As a life-long Red Sox fan, including the cardiac seasons of 1967, 1975, 1978, 1986, 1988, 1995, 1996, 1999, 2003, and 2005, I hear ya buddy.

Hecque, just given the number of innings in Red Sox games this year which have ended with the bases loaded, on both halves, I'll join in with you now.

But isn't that why we watch?

Lately, whenever Kip says he's putting on the game, I just look at him and put my hands up to my throat to make the international symbol for choking.

After last night, it is my most fervent wish that they don't make the post-season. Another loss like that one will make my head explode.

I live in Detroit.

I think that's all I need to say.

*sigh* We had incredible seats for the loss the other night, too.

Oh man. I was in SO much trouble the other night when I made a crack about how if David Wright did something terrible in a game, the NY Post would have the headline "David Wrong" on its back page. The instant I said that, he fucked up royally.

So now I've been saying in a fakey-vaudeville-y voice, "David Wright? More like David WRONG!" and every time I do it, Kip freaks out and tells me I'm jinxing it.

(I don't think the Post actually used the headline though. Best Post headline ever? Before the Mets signed Santana and they were looking for a starter, the Post used the headline: "Ace Venture a Met Objective.")

Tigers: worst fantasy baseball team EVAR.

They spent way too much money to get the results they got. Their payroll was more expensive than the Red Sox's, and that's saying something.

My sympathies.
