yendiI haven't posted much over the last few days, mainly because of a general lack of time.
Quick summary:
Friday: Came home to find that the child had a cold*.
Saturday: Child's cold was worse. And I came down with something, too. Ick.
Sunday: Recovered. Mostly.
Monday: Work, then citizen's police academy.
Tuesday: Work holiday, which allowed me to get gobsmacked by exhaustion.
Wednesday: Work again. And 'song gets home tonight. Yay!
Am more caught up than I was before, but I'm way behind on reading LJ, and will likely be for a while.
Books finished over this time (not counting graphic novels or books fore review) include Hugh Laurie's The Gun Seller and Elizabeth Hand's Bride of Frankenstein: Pandora's Bride, both of which deserve posts of their own. They'll get them, possibly today.
Videogames played during this time include pretty much nothing but Disgaea.
TV watched during this time includes baseball, which depressed me, and football, which didn't (although the throwback uniforms the Jets wore were ugly as sin, and not the happy fun kinds of sin, either.)
*Me, noting that it was pouring and chilly outside: Did you take your umbrella to school?
Elayna: Yeah, but I didn't use it. I danced in the rain instead.
*sigh*
