If I want to know how Albacon's going (beyond whatever posts jennythe_reader or katelaity make), I can just pop over to Google Blogsearch (where katelaity still has the top post, until I sort by date instead of relevance), and there are a few hundred posts.

ETA: And, of course, my Twitter app (Tweetdeck) has a search option as well, so I can find out about things like this.

On Facebook I had the *best* status ever when I posted FROM A PANEL, "Kathryn is talking about vaginas *right now*"!

Even funnier, the spell check wants to correct "vaginas" to "vagina's" -- criminy!

Yeah, we were making jokes in the language panel about inserting apostrophes to make an "alien" language and how you can't get away with that anymore, and I said it was because my students had stolen all those extra apostrophes to insert them haphazardly into their prose. Argh -- no wonder when spell checkers on LJ encourage it!
