I'd heard -- but largely ignored -- a lot of good buzz about the Swedish vampire flick Let the Right One In. Frankly, the title makes me think of the Partridge Family, and that evokes the wrong kind of horror.

But the red-band trailer definitely impresses me:

I liked 'Razor Blade Smile' for foreign flicks. This also looks like it bears checking out. :)

Looks really cool.

Okay, now that looks like a fairly decent movie. I think I'd pay to go see that one. Thanks, Yendi !!!

Just read the Newsweek review last night. And I'm fairly intrigued now...

This one looks scary for a vampire film.
All the more jarring 'cause of the exotic,
rather innocent looks of the two female leads
in suddenly bloody scenes.

Frostbitten is the one I saw at FrightFest in 2006. Lots to like, but some big plot holes.
