Tuesday Link Dump
Oct. 28th, 2008 12:08 pmIt's been a while since I've closed tabs. As always, there are plenty of links hitting my Twitter account and my Google Reader Shared Items.
Anyway:
1. Mike Grell on The Longbow Hunters.
2. Craig Ferguson's show this week will be devoted to punk rock. Real punk, folks: X, The New York Dolls, andThe Damned.
3. AfterElton has a great interview with Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette on True Blood).
4. One of my freebie online games, Skyrates, is about to undergo a reset (which will put everyone back to the same stating point). So if you're looking to get into a sky-island-air-combat-trading game, this is the time.
5. Paste Magazine is offering a VIP subscription (for $3.95 a month) with DVDS and lots of extra songs.
6. Election Projection -- a blog run by a conservative member of the religious right, and one of the better crunchers of poll numbers out there -- is calling the election for Obama.
6.5 For those wondering, the three election/poll blogs that I visit daily are Election Projection, Electoral-vote,, and FiveThirtyEight.
7. Shorpy is a nifty blog of vintage photography.
8. Via Megan McArdle, he's a good site on understanding derivatives.
9. Via John Scalzi, I've learned that Marla Mason is on Twitter!
10. Finally, if you're near a Barnes and Noble, have a free cappuccino and 15% off a book.
