My right calf has now been randomly spasming for two days now. This used to happen mainly when I was asleep - I'd wake up to find the muscle had turned into a tight little ball, and I'd have to massage it loose, all the while attempting not to scream. But it never happened when I was awake, presumably because I wouldn't leave my leg in one position for a while. But now it's doing it whenever I walk more than a few feet (only a mild spasm, nothing as bad as the ones I'd wake up with, thankfully). This sucks. I was told years ago that it might be a potassium issue, but I've been eating my One a Days, so I don't think that's it.

So, I'd given up on Friends years ago, when it first started to suck ass. But I'd been watching again this year, because [livejournal.com profile] shadesong watches it, and it was a pretty decent first half-season. But the last few epsisodes have sucked more than ever, and I'm finding it almost unwatchable. It's become like Angel, only without the comedy. I'm really rooting for an episode in which Rachel stakes herself so her child can live, so we can get rid of the single most annoying character on all of tv.

And there's no doubt that it'll get worse next year -- Family Ties is still the only show in history to survive the "let's add a baby" tactic.

The Apple Student Core threw a thank-you lunch to IT staff who have helped them, so I just came back from free Subway sandwiches and chips. And ITD's meeting in an hour is an "ice cream social," basically a lame attempt to make people like working here. So it's Free Food day! Woohoo!
