In an attempt to prepare me for Chicago, it's currently 40 degrees outside.

Of course, that's the low today in Atlanta, and the high in the Windy City. Methinks I'll pack a few sweaters.

Added: Why the fuck is "cold" an official LJ mood? It's not a mood? It's a physical sensation, dammit!

So, I've been doing some fiddling around with LJ RSS feeds (for info, see http://www.livejournal.com/syn ). This is a nifty paid-user-only feature. The problem is, RSS Feeds only go down in price as more people join them, and I'm near my quota. So I figure I'd recommend some of the ones I want you to add (because not only will you help me, but you'll have some good reading):


insidemacgames -- It only has two watchers, and is probably unlikely to appeal to those of you who still use lesser machines, but I know a few of you are Mac folks.

neilgaimanblog -- also only has two watchers, as it's currently semi-offline (it's not pulling down new updates). But I don't doubt that the unnamed person who came up with this feed will fix it. ;-)

kevinkell -- get one of my favorite strips in your LJ!

dictionary_wotd -- it's the Dictionary.com Word of the Day. :-)

boondocks -- 'nuff said. :-)

dorktowerfeed -- doubly important, as DT doesn't always update consistently, so I'm not as likely to check it.

theonionfeed and
brunching for your humor dosage.


dilbertdaily and
wilwheaton both have plenty of suscribers already.
