In response to many of the posts that were made about the whole Hunting for Bambi bruhaha, I said that it reeked of hoax. Well, Snopes has officially confirmed that it's a load of horseshit.
Played Blood Bowl last night with potential new league member Steve. It was fun, and I finally won a game with my Wood Elves (1-0 in overtime). I'm still not totally confident using them, but I'm definitely getting a much better feel for how to play with a team of fast wimps.
And I discovered a great new way to tease a kitten! Cook scallops! Seriously, as soon as I had the scallops out of the fridge, he came bounding into the kitchen, meowing and yowling at me, and wouldn't stop that (or his occasional attempts to hop onto the counter) until they were in the oven.
Scallops and Old Bay Seasoning go together nicely, by the way.
Interestingly, he didn't make any attempts at them once they were out of the oven. Guess he's a sashimi kind of cat.
Final SDCC news: Greg Rucka is also exclusive at DC. Which would mean something, if it weren't for the fact that he's turned in 18 Wolverine scripts (or will before the deal kicks in), and will still do Queen and Country. Personally, if DC paid extra for that deal, they got screwed.
Anyway, off to deal with work stuff.
