. . . is actually a re-run of an old WIld Life (his first comic strip). But very appropriate for anyone who caught the game last night.

Dammit, why didn't anyone tell me that Ellen Datlow has a new horror anthology? And Kirkus claims it has a great Jeffrey Ford story, as well as stuff by Tanith Lee and Kelly Link and Charles Grant.

I forgot to update after yesterday's doctor's appt. I definitely have a mild infection, but it's one that he thinks will go away without antibiotics. He did give me a prescription for amox, but I'm trying a combo of 600mg of Ibuprofen and 60mg of Sudaphed thrice a day first. Seems to be working so far -- although my voice is pretty close to shot, my throat is much better, and the ears are almost pain-free (if still a bit clogged).

The doctor was also surprised by how old I was. I think he thought I was a student. Guess I should be flattered. :-)

Yes, everyone else gets to experience it now (and there are some nifty changes, even on the Mac side). From what I've read, the Windows app is very nice, but also a memory hog. But no one I know is running it yet. http://www.apple.com/itunes/ for the info and download.

the iTunes store has also added audiobooks (although not at $.99 or anything close to that cheap), including a nice collection of Peter David Trek books. And you can now access playlists from folks like Sting and Ben Folds and Moby.
