Never assume you'll get work done at home
Jul. 29th, 2004 02:45 pmSo, today I stayed home, because I had documentation to write, and getting it done at the office (where there are folks who have no fucking concept of work or "indoor voice") isn't possible.
So, naturally, today's the day that the lawn folks come by to mow the lawn (our landlord covers lawn maintenance, and it hadn't occurred to me to ask when they'd do the lawn, since I'm normally not home).
They were gone by one, by which point I'd discovered that something I'd eaten had disagreed with me, so trips to the bathroom every ten minutes or so have ensued. Immodium has been added to the shopping list.
On the plus side, I have actually finished the docwork. Go me.
