First, happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] slvrdream and [livejournal.com profile] taraljc!

Second, best Dr. Who or not, Tom Baker is an ass.

So is George Lucas, but providing just one link isn't even worth the effort. Go read EW or any other recent interview.

I've already recommended http://www.electoral-vote.com as a great place to keep up with the polls. Their Saturday update is also one of the most concise and thorough FAQs on how polling really works.

Today's new Wish List Item: The DC Comics Encyclopedia. Drool. Over 1000 DC characters, in a DK format book. I'm there. Hell, I'll be pre-ordering this one.

Speaking of which, the JLU cartoon continues to impress me. A lot. It's so utterly aimed at the fanboys, it's wonderful. Not sure how accessible it is to anyone else, though.

The new The Batman cartoon is growing on me. It's not Batman: The Animated Series, and I need to get over that. Nothing will ever approach that level of quality again. But it's still solid.

Between JLU (and Static Shock if it ever returns), The Batman, and Teen Titans, it's weird having three DC Universes to watch. May have to check out Krypto when it airs, too.

Oh, and I think we've found one of Elayna's Hanukkah gifts: A Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends Gift Set! Of course, we might have to buy two or three. I think we all need Eduardo figures.

Off to a meeting. Today is busy day!

Remember!

Tonight's the season premiere of Gilmore Girls. How good is Gilmore Girls? I could write about it for paragraphs, but [livejournal.com profile] laurel already wrote up a perfect description here, right down to the Northern Exposure and MST3K comparisons.

And tonight also has another nifty new Heather Graham ep of Scrubs.

Yep, two of the only shows on network tv worth Tivoing, on tonight. Yay!
