First, I'm looking for help identifying a line in Oysterband's "We'll be There." The liner notes (and all lyrics sites) leave out the one time the chorus changes.
The chorus normally goes:
You can bring your JCBs
You can bring your drills and your drivers
You've got the might
But you've got no right
We'll be there, we'll be there, we'll be there. But at the end of the song, when they repeat the chorus one last time, they change it:
You can bring your JCBs
You can bring your drills and your drivers
*mumblemumblemumble"
And you bribe the police
We'll be there, we'll be there, we'll be there.Anyone happen to know that third line?
In other news, you know what I'd like to see? A
Sky Captain crossover with the DCU, in which our heroes end up on the distant planet Xudar, and meet that planet's hero. It's got a built-in title, of course:
Sky Captain and the World of Tomar-Re.Sorry. But that pun's been trying to escape for at least two weeks now.
And it's better than my
Sky Captain and the World of T.O.Morrow pun. Trust me.
(And my condolences if you actually
get both of those puns).
In other news, hidden on this page is a life-sized image of the violin being played for
Peter Angelos.. Poor guy!

I just downloaded two Carbon Leaf albums that I didn't have, as well as a bunch of Abra Moore, Tanya Donnelly, and a smattering of other folks like The Muffs, Greg Kihn, and other stuff, thanks to
Emusic's free trial. I can't justify their subscription fees (since I have too much of their music already, and I can't be assured they'll continue to get folks I like), and I feel almost like I'm stealing, but their free trial conditions (50 songs) are pretty clear.
And man, I hadn't heard this song (Kihn's other real hit, where "hit" is defined as "a song Adam actually saw regularly on MTV, back in the days when MTV stood for Music TeleVision and played lots of hit music") in years.
Oh, and for any other long-time Apple Geeks out there: I found and rescued an
Apple Techstep off the surplus pile! Woohoo for useless toys! All I need now is a IIci to use it on!
