Things that suck on a Monday morning.
Jan. 24th, 2005 09:13 am1. Amazon got rid of the Share the Love program.
2. Sometime in the last year or two, Panera Bread got rid of their yummy salmon cream cheese (which, unlike the salmon cream cheese at another chain, actually contained real bits o' salmon in it).
3. Airtran's flights out of Boston yesterday were cancelled, so
shadesong is still away. :-(
4. I had bitchin' insomnia last night. That's not nearly as much fun as bitchin' Camaro.
And, of course, there's the fact that it's Monday morning, I've got lots of work to do, and there's a training session this afternoon that I really don't want to deal with.
In other news, yes, I watched the games yesterday. Not really surprised by either one, but if TO's not healthy in two weeks, I don't expect the Super Bowl to be close.
Yes, I also know that the Mets have pulled out of the Delgado race. That's fine by me. Delgado's a great player, but the Mets have a lot of holes, and they could spend the money a lot more efficiently.
That Season 1 of Scrubs DVD set I mentioned last week? Could the cover art be any worse?
For your daily dose of "elitism," I can only point you to this post linked via
nihilistic_kid.
shadesong et al, did you catch this panel? It's just the sort of thing I'd have loved to be an audience member for.
Bluntest spam subject line of the day: Buy your meds from Canada and save a shitload!
Finally, after all the frivolous petitions over political causes and the like, it's nice to see a serious one about an issue that actually matters. When will our national misery end?
