Things accomplished this weekend
Jan. 8th, 2006 02:07 pm1.
glenn5 dropped by yesterday, and we grabbed a birthday (his, nor any of ours) lunch with him at Crescent Moon.
2. Shopping -- clothes for Elayna at the Gap (thanks to a gift card), clothes for
shadesong at Macys (thanks to another gift card), Fruits Basket volumes 2, 3, and 4 for Miss Kid at Barnes and Noble, thanks to two more gift cards. I shopped for a new coffeemaker (ours is dying a slow and painful death), but wanted to do some more research before plopping down money.
3. Reading. My mom got me a subscription to New York (since they were giving her a free gift sub when she renewed), and I read my first issue of that in years, along with about ten other magazines from the stack (the 65th anniversary issue of Gourmet being one of the better ones). Also downed a few comics and a novel or two.
4. TV. Watched one of the worst horror movies ever last night on cable: Adam & Evil. I'm doubly offended that a movie that sucks this much could have my name in it. Seriously, even fans of bad horror should avoid this one.
5. Um. Not much else. It's a weekend, you know.
