Work's been too busy for daily links this week. But a few tabs have piled up:
1.
A Day with the Mythbusters.
2. Bacon link I forgot in that last post:
Bacon desserts!
3.
Nicholson Baker on Wikipedia.
4.
The Vulture interviews Jeff Smith.
5. Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal are
going on a national tour of Rent, because they clearly still look like they're in their young '20s. No word on the rest of the cast, but Gabrielle Carteris has to be a lock for Mimi.
6. It really feels like we're all
painting our hands to punch the luggage.
7. Yet another
really long Iron Man trailer. I am beyond psyched for this one.
8. Cleveland, from Family Guy,
might be getting his own spin-off.
9.
The Heroes Soundtrack will include Bowie's song "Heroes." I'm shocked. More importantly, there will be a new Jesus and Mary Chain song, as well as a new Iggy Pop song (well, Iggy with Brighton Port Authority). And Imogen Heap is always good.
10. Sprint is
becoming the first company to offer a $100-a-month plan for internet, voice, and text. This is the first time that smartphones have seemed vaguely appealing.
11. Finally, don't forget to visit sunny Yendiopolis (which I've been neglecting). We need a wee bit of
industry/
business (um, I'm assuming both increase employment) and a few
parks. After that, we just need
residents.
