Today's moments of zen
May. 27th, 2009 10:10 amThe part of the Big Server Upgrade that's out of our hands is just about over, which means I'm about to dive into lots and lots of config changes and will be away from the net for most of the day. In the meantime:
1. Over at Reason, Kerry Howley posts an actual reasonable article noting that Ilya Somin and the others are overreacting and cherrypicking in their criticism of Sotomayer. She ends her post with the phrase, "I'd rather not cede common sense to the left." Naturally, the usual gang of freepers and other idiots show up in comments and promptly cede common sense to the left.
2. Michael Lynton, the clearly unqualified CEO of Sony I made fun of last week, is at it again, arguing that the Internet should get off his lawn. Instead of just reading his truly idiotic post, go see a point-for-point rebuttal.
