Dammit, I need notice of these things

Bad enough that I somehow missed that new Smullyan I mentioned last week, but now I've learned that the world did send me an engraved notice when Tom Standage came out with a new book earlier this year. The lack of notifications from the universe is starting to make me feel like I've been tossed into the Total Perspective Vortex or something.

You know what's awesome about opening Omnifocus after two months of forgetting about it?

Being able to check off every task on the to-do list. It's got all the sense of accomplishing stuff, without the pesky work.

(Aside: Yes, I used to have it as a startup item, but removed it during some troubleshooting a while ago, and it was thus out of sight and out of mind.)
